About the role
The Solution Consultant at Fortiro is a trusted industry expert who plays a critical role in helping prospective and existing customers understand, adopt, and realise value from Fortiro’s platform. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Customers, bringing deep domain expertise in fraud, financial crime, and verification to ensure solutions achieve customer outcomes, are technically sound and commercially viable.
You will guide customers through solution design, pilots, and integration discussions, acting as a credible advisor throughout the sales process and early customer journey. Externally, you are seen as a subject matter expert who adds confidence and clarity to complex buying decisions. Internally, you act as the voice of the customer, feeding market insights back into Product and GTM strategy.
What you'll be doing
Partnering with Sales and customers to understand business objectives, challenges, and technical environments, translating these into clear functional and technical requirements for mid and late stage opportunities.
Designing and delivering compelling solution designs, demonstrations, and presentations that clearly articulate value, fit, and outcomes, and support proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and technical sales documentation.
Leading and supporting pilots and proof of concepts from data ingestion through to output analysis, clearly communicating insights, value, and ROI while accurately showcasing Fortiro’s capabilities.
Acting as the voice of the customer internally, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Go To Market teams to feed structured insights into roadmap, prioritisation, and delivery decisions, and to ensure a seamless customer journey from prospect through to customer.
Acting as a trusted domain expert in fraud, financial crime, credit, and verification, bringing industry credibility into customer conversations and contributing to Fortiro’s external profile through content, events, and presentations.
Enabling Fortiro’s partner ecosystem by supporting solution design, capability uplift, and consistent positioning across assigned strategic partners, strengthening confidence and alignment with the platform.
Ensuring thorough and accurate handover to Implementation and Customer Success teams with clear documentation and context.
What you’ll bring to the role
Experience in fraud or financial crime is highly desirable, ideally gained in consulting, solutioning, or pre‑sales contexts.
Understanding of fraud detection, financial verification, credit risk or scoring concepts, and how fraud and risk teams operate within enterprise organisations.
Ability to analyse data and results using tools such as Excel and present insights clearly using PowerPoint.
Strong problem‑solving capability and creative approach to addressing customer challenges.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
Confidence operating in customer‑facing environments with senior stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast‑paced GTM environment.
Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work across Sales, Product, and Customer teams.
Willingness to travel domestically on a limited basis for customer and industry engagements.
